The 2007 CIIM Awards was born with the goal of giving recognition to outstanding individuals of Italian origin living in Canada.

This event is co-organized with Multimedia Nova Corporation, CIIM's strategic media Partner, owner of Canada's only daily Italian newspaper, Corriere Canadese/Tamden. Multimedia Nova is one of the many successful businesses established in Canada, managed by its President and CEO Italian-Canadian Lori Abittan and founded by the late Dan Iannuzzi , founder of Corriere Canadese. We are proud to have the opportunity to work with Multimedia in organizing this event.

A portion of the Awards Gala proceeds of the Awards Gala will benefit the The Universal Youth Foundation, a charity founded by CIIM Toronto Board Member Mario Cortellucci. Mario is yet another example of extraordinary entrepreneurial success here in Canada, and we are honoured to have him on our Board.
