About Universal Youth Foundation

The new millennium has brought new challenges to those who desire to make a difference in peoples' lives through education. Today the world is faced with the challenge of educating those whose parents and teachers have died through war, famine and the ravages of AIDS. We are presented with millions of children and youth who do not have a school. And, we are confronted with the challenge of not only being able to give generously, but also of being able to ensure that what is given is received directly by those who need it most.

The aim of the Universal Youth Foundation, a registered Canadian charity, is to help communities help themselves, one child at a time. Education is not only the key to prosperity and knowledge, but to a tolerant and peaceful existence on earth. Through education, children and youth are prepared to address their needs and the needs of the most vulnerable in our society. It is an investment that, simply, must be made.

This is why the Universal Youth Foundation was born. The Foundation is committed to providing educational assistance to children and youth in need throughout the developing world by funding schools and teachers. The Universal Youth Foundation has a dedicated team of experienced individuals with backgrounds in education, law, international development, media, security, business, politics and youth who have come together to provide hope through education.

With your support, children and youth can be given the education they need to build a better tomorrow for themselves, their families and their communities. In turn, the children and youth we help will serve to inspire others to take on a leadership role in shaping their future - a future filled with promise and hope.
