CIIM Canada is proud to announce that the CIIM Awards are given under the High Patronage of the Office of the Italian Prime Minister, Mr Romano Prodi.

Why the awards?

We believe it is important to recognize the tremendous positive impact that many Italians have made in Canada. We want to recognize the value of being Italian, outside of Italy, and award the professional contributions and ability of Italian/Canadians that achieve success in all aspects of professional life - trades, sports, charities and many more.

We look forward to discovering and learning of these successes in future Awards Galas. We realize that there are many stories of success that could be awarded in one single night; we have thus decided to offer nominations to a list of recipients that will then be voted on by over 1300 executives and entrepreneurs of Italian origin living in Canada. Voting will be take place electronically through our Newsletter, a special Awards edition, soon to be sent to our more than 1500 readers.

Voting will take place starting January 14th, 2008 through January 18th. This electronic voting system enables and guarantees one vote for each registered email and it has been offered by our partner Successbymail.com.

The results in terms of votes will not be disclosed and only the name of the awarded recipient will be posted in the weeks prior to the event.
